Board and Card Games – Sylvia Bailey
Indulge in a variety of games. Currently on offer: Scrabble, Upwords,  Rummicubs, Othello, Chess and Boggle, but will play any game you want, providing you’ve got it and it’s legal. In particular this next year the Group want to try Backgammon and Cribbage. If you have played these games come along and join us. Beginners tutored by others in group. Relaxation in convivial company while taxing your  brains, but not too much! There’s only one rule: “To enjoy ourselves”. Includes Canasta, Chess, and Mah Jong

11.15 am to 12.45 pm and 1.15 to 3.00p.m. Thursdays

Bridge – Don Cole
For beginners, improvers and competition players. Beginners just need to know the rudiments of 'tricks and trumps', improvers can join in with the weekly competition when sufficiently confident and for the competition players after Xmas there will be short tutorials on bidding.  Move into the group you feel comfortable with.

1.30 - 4.00 pm, Tuesdays, for 3 terms

Snooker - John Winch
Newcomers and more experienced players welcomed. We have exclusive use of the Cygnet Club’s three excellent snooker tables. Cues, advice on playing the game, and help with the rules are all provided as required. £2.50 for each two-hour session, plus an annual membership fee to the Club of £5 (over 65's) or £10 (under 65's).
