An opportunity to indulge in a variety of games. Currently on offer - Scrabble, Upwords, Rummitubs, Backgammon, Othello, Chess, and Boggle. But will play any game you want, providing you’ve got it and it’s legal. Beginners tutored by others in group. Relaxation in convivial company while taxing your brains, but not too much! We have only one rule “We enjoy ourselves”.

For beginners, improvers and competition players. Beginners just need to know the rudiments of 'tricks and trumps'. Improvers can join in with the weekly competition when sufficiently confident and for the competition players after Christmas there will be short tutorials on bidding. Move into the group you feel comfortable with.

The ancient Chinese game. The Mah Jong group has run for several years. It’s an interesting board game played with tiles. If you’ve never heard of it come along and learn. We have only one rule “We enjoy ourselves”.
Snooker
11.00 - 1.00 Fridays at The Cygnet Club, Swan Bank, Congleton

Newcomers and more experienced welcomed. We have exclusive use of the club’s three excellent snooker tables. Cues, advice on playing the game, and help with the rules are all provided as required. £3 for the two-hour session.
