Play Reading
1.30 - 4.30 pm, 2nd and 4th Tuesdays fortnightly at Astbury Mere
Marie Straker

Purely for pleasure and the fun it is to be part of a group reading a play aloud together! Plays will range from old to new, high comedy to darkest tragedy. Members of the group will volunteer(!) to read parts aloud in an appropriate accent or manner - or in a normal voice - just as the mood takes them! It’s also O.K. to come just to listen and enjoy.

Theatre Group
Glenys Lowrey

We aim to do a theatre trip once a month either to Manchester or Hanley and usually a matinee.

See information on coming attractions in 2009 here.
