DAY TRIPS
Is there somewhere you have always wanted to visit and it is within a days' coach drive of Congleton? If so, please leave a brief description in the envelope at the front of the ‘TRIPS’ folder on the table at St. Johns.  We won't be able to accommodate every suggestion, but hopefully several people will come up with the same idea, which will be looked into.

Day Trip to BletchleyPark

Volunteers at Congleton museum are organising a coach trip to Bletchley Park and have some spare seats.  If anyone would like to join them on Sunday 15th April please ring Bill Pegley on 01260 281996 to reserve a place.

The cost for the whole trip is £28.  This includes a conducted tour and entrance to the Colossus Park.  As it is at the weekend other exhibition rooms are also open. The coach leaves the Fairground bus station at 8.00am and returns at about 7.00pm.

Heritage Day National Coal Mining Museum and Nostell Priory.
Friday April 27^th 2012
Coach fare £13 pp (+ £7 entrance fee for non National Trust members)
Free entry for all to National Mining Museum.
The Rhododendrons and Azaleas should be in flower in the 300 acres of parkland at Nostell Priory, a large Georgian mansion near Wakefield, full of Chippendale furniture and paintings by old masters.

Chelsea Flower Show
May 23^{rd -} 25^th 2012
including 2 nights in Hilton Hotel, Watford, half board.
Full day at Chelsea Flower Show plus visits to Stratford on Avon and Stowe Landscape Gardens.
Cost pp £225 (2 sharing) plus entrance to Stowe for non NT members.

Royal Albert Hall
THE SONGSTERS would like to run a day trip to London on Monday December 3rd for the evening performance of John Rutter's Christmas Celebration in the Royal  Albert Hall, plus an afternoon to explore London.
